This school also trains Soldiers and develops “agile and adaptive” leaders who are well grounded in Army values, war fighting tasks, MP technical skills and doctrine; prepares Soldiers to be capable of executing the five MP functions in support of Military Police, Army and Joint Force Commanders while conducting full spectrum operations and refining doctrine, organization, training, material , leader development, personnel, facilities and non-lethal capabilities that will enable and facilitate the relevance and mission success of the Military Police Corps Regiments, our Soldiers and our formations.
Fort Leonard Wood is also the home of the 4th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade (4th MEB), a deployable Forces Command asset. The Maneuver Enhancement Brigade is a new concept in area operations and stability operations. The 4th MEB’s unique staff is composed of engineer, military police, and chemical cells; and organically has a Brigade Support Battalion and a Signal Company.
